Getting toward the end; the eighth of the ten pieces in the ’Manifest’ series. Everything falls away, turning to dust. The physical, the psychological, all of it. And it’s every bit as painful as one may imagine. But pain can bring about rebirth. But it can also remain just that: pain.

This is probably the sparsest of the ten – by design, but also by accident. I actually planned to do more with this piece. But once I reached this point, I liked where it was at. My plans would have muddled the results, so I just let it be.
