This is one of the pieces I completed for a collection of works, titled Monachopsis. I’ll define that in the next post, I promise.
A while I received an Emerging Artists grant from the Ontario Arts Council. I can’t remember if I mentioned it on here or not. I don’t remember what I had for lunch yesterday. My memory is not great.
Anyway, thanks to that grant, I was able to create some new works for this collection.
Over time, I’ve felt like I might retouch this one. Out of the works created for inclusion in ‘Monachopsis’, I was the least happy with how this one turned out. But I might also leave it. Who knows?
Anyway, stay tuned for more. And also, once cases go down and things open up, hopefully you’ll be able to finally see this show in a gallery near you.
