With this series, I’ve been aiming to create visually appealing, representational spaces, and then go in and mess them up. Breaking down familiar spaces to the point of being almost unrecognizable.

I started on this right after finishing “Watching”, so I think these works have a pretty good trajectory.

The space is altering itself, fragmenting into abstraction. I’ve decided to call this series of works “Tracking”. As in the warning that pops up when the picture on a VHS tape begins to distort.

Some of you may not know what VHS tapes are. That’s because I’m old. So that’s that.
