Another piece for ‘Anybody But Myself’, for those of us who question whether the space we take up is actually ours to take.
Sometimes, we feel so out of place and time that we begin to interrogate whether we have the right to be where we are. Are we occupying space actually designated to others?
We shrink ourselves so as to not offend.
It sounds ridiculous, but when we feel we don’t belong, it feels like losing the right to exist where you are. No matter where you are.
More to come.
